Qualifications:
Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Experience with various communication modalities (ASL, oral, total communication, etc.) Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong organizational and collaboration skills Ability to create individualized lesson plans and adapt instructional strategies Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct educational services to students with hearing impairments Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families Document student growth and maintain accurate records Advocate for the use of assistive technology and appropriate accommodations
