You'll work closely with both classroom groups and on an individual basis, assisting learners ages 3 to 21 throughout the school environment. Your schedule will run Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, offering a steady routine and valuable experience in a dynamic setting. Key Qualifications:

Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) or Paraprofessional Certificate (required) Previous experience as a paraprofessional, or supporting students with disabilities and behavioral needs is highly valued Strong communication skills and patience when working with students with Autism and a range of abilities Flexibility to engage with students of varying ages (3-21) and adapt to different roles (classroom aide or individual aide) Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff Ready to begin as soon as possible and commit through the end of the academic year

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to teachers in classroom management, lesson activities, and behavioral support Offer individual or small group support to students with Autism and other disabilities Implement instructional and behavioral strategies, following IEP guidelines and team feedback Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment Monitor student progress and offer positive reinforcement and redirection as needed If you're eager to make a significant difference and grow your experience in a supportive school environment, we would love to connect!
