Little Warriors Day Care Learning Center Pay:

$15-$16 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Higher starting pay may be available for candidates who hold a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or who are currently enrolled in a qualifying degree program.

In Person Job Overview Little Warriors Day Care Learning Center is seeking a dependable, caring, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our team. The Teacher Assistant will work closely with lead teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. This position provides hands-on experience in early childhood education and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young children each day. Essential Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Provide attentive and supportive care while encouraging children's social, emotional, and developmental growth. Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals, diapering, potty training, nap time, and transitions. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Support classroom expectations and encourage positive behavior through appropriate guidance and redirection. Supervise and interact with children in accordance with center policies and safety requirements. Work cooperatively with lead teachers, administrators, and other staff members. Assist with classroom preparation, cleaning, and organization. Communicate with parents and families in a professional and respectful manner when appropriate. Follow all Little Warriors Day Care policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and applicable childcare regulations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Must successfully pass all required background checks. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required. Experience may include daycare, babysitting, nannying, preschool, or volunteer work with children. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification. Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and responsible. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to remain flexible and respond appropriately to the changing needs of young children. Must demonstrate professionalism and a genuine interest in working with children.
