Job Description

Apply Associate Marine Engineer (Electronics / Electrical) - Poole Location Hybrid Job Type Permanent Salary £29,951 - £35,236 per annum Navis Consulting are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Marine Electronics Engineer to join a team supporting the performance, reliability and development of marine systems throughout their operational lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a background in marine, electrical or electronic engineering who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, systems integration and solving complex technical problems. Responsibilities Providing engineering support for the maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrade of marine systems Diagnosing faults and carrying out root-cause analysis across electronic, electrical and control systems Supporting the integration of new electronic systems into existing marine platforms Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams Preparing technical documentation, including test procedures, reports and modification proposals Supporting compliance with relevant maritime regulations and safety standards Working with suppliers, OEMs, surveyors and other technical stakeholders to resolve engineering issues effectively Requirements You'll ideally have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Marine Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline Experience in marine engineering with a good understanding of electronic systems such as navigation, communications or control systems Practical experience with electrical/electronic fault-finding techniques and diagnostic equipment Knowledge of marine safety standards and regulatory requirements Strong technical communication and documentation skills The ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits £29,951-£35,236, dependent on experience Annual performance-related pay scheme 26 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays Time off in lieu Flexible working opportunities Competitive pension scheme Life assurance Health and dental cash plan Apply If this position interests you, and you would like to learn more or explore other available jobs that could also match your skill set, please apply today or email jbaker@navis-consulting.com
