8:00am- 4:30pm; this position will work and be paid for 75 hours in a 2-week pay period Current county employees will follow the county's promotion/demotion policy.
Job Summary:
To perform data entry, monetary and specialized departmental clerical duties, and responsibilities in a timely manner according to established policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
Works independently under the supervision of the Tax Administration Supervisor Manager. Responds to taxpayer inquiries Process tax records and payments Maintains electronic and financial records Reconcile accounts Support delinquent tax collection and foreclosure activities Prepare reports and official documentation Assist staff with special projects Attends meetings and training as required. Work:
Education:
High school diploma plus additional training in computers, business, and accounting. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 required. Must obtain knowledge of real estate taxation and collection practices.
Work Experience:
2 years' working experience preferred in taxes, accounting and/or banking. Work experience handling and responsibility for receiving large sums of money required. Experience and knowledge of tax foreclosure document preparation preferred.
