Job Description

Job Overview We are hiring a full-time Insurance Agent Trainee to join our Manhattan, KS office. This is a paid employment position with structured training and mentorship. The successful candidate will develop insurance sales and customer-service skills while working as a member of our team. This position includes new-business sales, customer follow-up, insurance quoting, policy servicing, and achievement of agency sales goals.

Salary Range:

$30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary

+ Commission

Experience in sales is a plus, but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping clients. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to upholding high ethical and professional standards.

Insurance license:

A Kansas Property & Casualty license is preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities Training and Learning:

Engage in a thorough training initiative to become skilled in insurance products, industry rules, and our agency's procedures.

Customer Interaction:

Help clients choose suitable insurance plans by understanding their unique requirements, presenting quotes, and providing expert advice.

Policy Administration:

Manage policy renewals, updates, and address customer inquiries to ensure excellent client satisfaction.

Sales Assistance:

Collaborate with seasoned agents to acquire effective sales techniques and tactics, aiming to surpass sales goals.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Handle tasks like data entry, record-keeping, and upkeep of client files.

Professional Development:
