Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapy protocols, support clients through personalized care plans, and assist with skill development across various settings. Responsibilities Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques tailored to each client's individualized care plan Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions under supervision, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and treatment protocols Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and transparency in care Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other disabilities Knowledge of behavioral health principles, behavior management strategies, and ABA therapy implementation Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times Commitment to ethical practices aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication helps transform lives. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per week

Are you able to perform these essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation? Behavior Connections provides services in clients' homes and community settings. Employees travel directly to client locations and may work with more than one client per day. Do you have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to scheduled client locations Some clients may engage in challenging behaviors, which can include aggression, self-injury, property destruction, elopement, tantrums, or other unsafe behaviors. Are you comfortable receiving training and following behavior intervention and safety procedures when these behaviors occur? Most of our clients require ABA services during after-school and early-evening hours. Are you consistently available to work during these hours on the days indicated in this job posting? Consistency is extremely important for children receiving ABA services. This position requires maintaining a regular weekly schedule with assigned clients. Are you able to commit to a consistent schedule and reliably attend your scheduled sessions? This is primarily an in-home and community-based position rather than a clinic-based position. CBTs typically provide direct services independently with ongoing supervision and support from a BCBA. Are you comfortable working in clients' homes and community settings?
