Position Overview Role:

Oversee the daily operations and quality of designated histology laboratory areas

Leadership:

Supervise laboratory staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and competency assessments

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient laboratory testing while maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures

Collaboration:

Coordinate with other laboratory supervisors to support seamless transitions between shifts

Quality:

Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the department Requirements Associate of Science degree in Histology required; bachelor s degree in Histology preferred Florida Clinical Laboratory Histology Supervisor license (or eligible) HT or

HTL ASCP
