The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records management, as well as proficiency in relevant software such as Eaglesoft. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the office while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for compliance. Process patient information and insurance claims, ensuring proper coding. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow. Utilize Eaglesoft for managing patient records and scheduling. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area. Stay updated on dental terminology and administrative procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical setting is preferred. Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology, dental terminology, and coding practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently, including documentation review. Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
