Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will encompass a wide range of dental procedures, from routine examinations to complex treatments, all delivered with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging and dental terminology. Diagnose dental conditions accurately through clinical examinations and appropriate use of dental diagnosis techniques. Deliver a variety of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Utilize dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices to restore oral function and aesthetics. Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards to ensure patient safety. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records using electronic health record systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering a comfortable environment. Qualifications Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting. Proficiency with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Skilled in performing dental procedures including extractions, root canals, implants, endodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. Ability to communicate clearly with patients of diverse backgrounds and explain complex dental concepts in an understandable manner. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient confidentiality. $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
