Western Wisconsin Health is seeking casual Cashier/Dietary Aids to join our Culinary Services department! The successful applicant will be cross trained to work in both positions. The Dietary Aide assists cook with patient meal ordering and patient trays, restocks nourishment and waiting room areas, completes prep work, and assists with special functions. The Cashier handles monetary transactions in a fast-paced environment. Cashiers serve as a link between the customer, the managerial and kitchen staff, and keep the front area of the Eatery clean and well stocked. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 months related experience in a restaurant or dietary capacity
Other Qualifications:
Ability to understand and apply the principles of special diets for patient food delivery. Ability to apply concepts of basic math, knowledge in basic food service equipment operation, safe food handling and sanitation. Working knowledge of portion sizes, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as recipe conversion, weights and measures, discounts, proportions, and volume. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working knowledge of POS register system for ringing up customers High degree of personal hygiene. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information. Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards. Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
Shifts include:
Available 7 days/week between 7am - 7pm Rotating weekends and holidays
