Join Mind & Mane Mind & Mane, LLC is expanding our clinical team and seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Clinician/Therapist to provide behavioral health services at our Rocky Mount and Kinston, North Carolina locations. The Opportunity The Clinician/Therapist will provide high-quality behavioral health services, including outpatient therapy, clinical assessments, intakes, treatment planning, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and care coordination. Services may be provided through a combination of in-person and telehealth appointments, based on client needs, clinical appropriateness, payer requirements, and organizational needs. Candidates with experience or credentials in substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, screenings, and intakes. Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans with measurable clinical goals. Provide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy within scope of practice. Deliver evidence-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed interventions. Utilize therapeutic approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other clinically appropriate modalities. Assess client progress and adjust interventions based on clinical presentation and treatment response. Provide crisis assessment, safety planning, intervention, and de-escalation when clinically indicated. Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation. Complete treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, discharge summaries, and other required clinical records within established timelines. Coordinate care with psychiatric providers, nurses, Qualified Professionals, Peer Support Specialists, schools, DSS, medical providers, community agencies, and other members of the client's treatment team. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical case consultations. Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups as assigned. Provide substance use and co-occurring disorder interventions when qualified and credentialed to do so. Maintain compliance with applicable ethical, regulatory, payer, Medicaid, Medicare, state, federal, and organizational requirements. Clinical Leadership Opportunities Based on experience, credentials, and organizational needs, qualified clinicians may also have opportunities to: Provide clinical consultation and guidance to behavioral health staff. Mentor Qualified Professionals, paraprofessionals, Peer Support Specialists, and other team members as appropriate. Participate in staff training and professional development. Support clinical documentation reviews and quality assurance initiatives. Contribute to program development and continuous quality improvement. Support compliance with applicable NC DHHS/DHSR, Medicaid, payer, accreditation, and agency requirements. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Substance Use Counseling, or another qualifying behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution. Current North Carolina license or associate license appropriate to assigned clinical services, including:

LCSW / LCSW-A LCMHC / LCMHC-A LCAS / LCAS-A CCS

Other qualifying North Carolina behavioral health credential, as applicable Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, and documentation. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and professional communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ethical, person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally responsive care. Preferred Qualifications We are especially interested in candidates who bring one or more of the following: Dual mental health and substance use credentials. Experience providing outpatient behavioral health therapy. Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Knowledge of ASAM criteria. Experience with trauma-informed care. Experience providing individual and group therapy. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families. Knowledge of North Carolina Medicaid behavioral health requirements. Experience with electronic health record and telehealth platforms. Current payer credentialing or the ability to become credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, Tailored Plans, and/or commercial insurance networks. Bilingual or multilingual abilities. Compensation $40.00-$70.00 per hour Compensation is determined based on licensure, credentials, clinical experience, payer credentialing, scope of responsibilities, employment classification, and other relevant qualifications.
