Overview Good Day Mental Health & Psychiatry is seeking a Postdoctoral Mental Health Professional with child & adolescent experience for our family-focused, CBT-based group practice in Ogden, UT. Education Doctoral degree, working to complete supervised clinical hours required for licensing About Us We specialize in psychological testing and in treating anxiety, trauma, OCD, and depression in children, adolescents and adults. We provide evidenced-based treatments, with CBT and Exposure Therapy being our primary models. Good Day Mental Health & Psychiatry will provide you with client referrals, and all initial appointments will be booked with the help of our office assistants. As with all private practice positions, your schedule will grow as clients are referred into the practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinical documentation standards. Provide individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and exposure therapy. Engage in treatment planning and case management tailored to clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, and PTSD. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans; utilize electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems for precise documentation of patient care and progress. Deliver in person and telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to clinical ethical guidelines. Requirements Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy. Must be willing to work with children. Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, case management, and clinical research methodologies. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining compassionate care.
