Who You Are Generator Wellness is looking for an exceptional Licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about therapeutic bodywork, wellness, and delivering an outstanding client experience. You are professional, warm, skilled, reliable, and genuinely care about helping people feel better. You understand that every client is different and are comfortable tailoring each session to the individual's goals—whether they are looking for deep tissue work, recovery from training, relief from chronic tension, stress reduction, or simply a restorative experience. You are also a strong team player who enjoys working in a collaborative wellness environment and takes pride in being part of something larger than your individual practice. The Role As a Massage Therapist at Generator Wellness, you will provide customized therapeutic massage and bodywork within your scope of practice and in accordance with Texas licensing requirements. You will assess each client's needs, communicate clearly, and design thoughtful treatment sessions intended to deliver meaningful results while providing an exceptional experience from beginning to end. We are looking for therapists who want to build strong relationships with clients and become part of a growing wellness community. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform a wide range of massage and bodywork services, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, therapeutic massage, and recovery-focused treatments Customize each session based on the client's individual goals, health history, areas of concern, and preferences Complete client intake and review relevant medical history, contraindications, injuries, medications, and treatment considerations Communicate recommended treatment approaches clearly and professionally Maintain detailed and accurate client treatment notes Educate clients on appropriate recovery modalities and complementary Generator Wellness services Make thoughtful recommendations for future massage sessions, recovery services, and wellness plans when appropriate Help create an exceptional client experience before, during, and after every session Maintain treatment rooms to Generator Wellness standards for cleanliness, presentation, and safety Complete opening, closing, and department responsibilities as assigned Participate in select events, community partnerships, open houses, and promotional opportunities Support the overall success of the team and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture Maintain current Texas massage therapy licensing and continuing education requirements Stay current on massage, recovery, and wellness techniques and best practices Therapists who are interested may also have opportunities to expand their skill set through additional training in stretching, recovery protocols, cupping, and other complementary services. What We're Looking For Current State of Texas Massage Therapy License Strong hands-on therapeutic skills Deep tissue and/or sports massage experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Warm, polished, and professional client-facing presence Ability to listen carefully and personalize each treatment Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable educating clients on services and recommending appropriate ongoing care Team-oriented attitude Interest in wellness, recovery, longevity, and helping people feel their best Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the larger Generator Wellness team Availability for a combination of weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends depending on schedule needs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform massage therapy for extended periods Ability to safely lift up to approximately 20 pounds as needed Our Culture At Generator Wellness, we believe expertise matters—but so does how people feel when they walk through our doors.
