Responsibilities Deliver a comprehensive range of massage techniques — including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, occupational health massage, and myofascial release — customized to each client's goals and physical condition. Perform thorough pre-session client assessments, reviewing medical history, current symptoms, pain levels, and treatment objectives to develop individualized care plans. Adapt treatment approaches in real time based on client feedback, contraindications, and observed tissue response throughout each session. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding their treatment plans, session progress, expected outcomes, and post-session self-care recommendations. Collaborate with other clinical team members — including injectors, estheticians, and medical staff — to support integrated patient care when applicable. Maintain an immaculately clean, organized, and professional treatment space, adhering strictly to sanitation protocols, hygiene standards, and proper draping techniques at all times. Document each session thoroughly and accurately, including assessment findings, techniques applied, client feedback, and recommendations for follow-up care. Stay current with advancements in massage therapy, emerging modalities, and industry best practices through ongoing education and professional development. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with Texas state regulations — required. Demonstrated, hands-on experience with multiple massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to accurately assess client conditions and design effective, safe treatment plans. Strong patient service and interpersonal skills — ability to connect with a diverse client base with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, and injury rehabilitation is strongly preferred. Current CPR certification required. Comfort and availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, on an on-call basis. Prior experience in a medical spa, clinical, or healthcare setting is a plus.
