Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Pain Management Physician to join our client's team in Maine. This 60-day assignment commences on Jan 4, 2027, with a consistent schedule from 8am to 5pm. The role primarily involves managing a diverse range of pain cases, including referrals for conditions such as bursitis, radiculopathy, degenerative disc disease, various joint pains, and post-surgical pain syndromes, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities and Duties Manage cases involving Bursitis Address Cervical radiculopathy Treat Coccydynia Handle Complex regional pain syndrome Care for Degenerative disc disease Manage Herniated discs Treat Joint pain (Knee, shoulder, hip) Address Lateral epicondylitis (Tennis elbow) Manage Lower back pain Treat Medial epicondylitis (Golf elbow) Address Muscular trigger points Manage Neck pain Care for Osteoarthritis of hip, knee or spine Treat Peripheral neuropathy (e.g. intercostal, occipital, ulnar, femoral, peroneal, meralgia paresthetica) Address Piriformis syndrome Manage Post laminectomy syndrome Care for Post spinal fusion pain Treat Rib fractures Address Rotator cuff injuries/tears/syndrome Manage Sacroiliitis Treat Sciatica Care for Shingles/Post-herpetic neuralgia pain Address Spinal stenosis Manage Spondylolisthesis Treat Spondylosis Care for Sports injuries Perform Trigger point injections Additional Information Board Certification in Pain Management required. Experience with Meditech EHR system.
