Syracuse, New York- Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an established Cardiology practice in Syracuse, New York.

- Obtain and review comprehensive medical histories.
- Conduct physical examinations and clinical assessments.
- Order diagnostic tests and assist with evaluating results.
- Administer appropriate treatments and monitor patient progress.
- Prescribe medications as permitted by licensure and practice guidelines.
- Assist physicians with patient care and procedures.
- Counsel and educate patients regarding their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Maintain quality, safety, and infection-control standards.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and demonstrate leadership when necessary. Schedule & Work Environment

- Current New York State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations and assume a leadership role when needed.
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches within the area of expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection-control standards.
- Knowledge of health promotion, health-risk identification, and patient education principles and techniques. Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$100,000-$130,000, depending on experience.
