A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with strong school-based skills, offering an ASAP start near Ridgefield, CT. This position provides the chance to split your week between a high school (10 hours) and an elementary school (20 hours, including make-up sessions), delivering direct services with a focus on helping young learners achieve developmental milestones.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut Previous experience providing OT services in school settings is preferred Proficiency in evaluating and treating students with diverse needs and IEPs Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families Comfortable managing an independent caseload without COTA support

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct OT services to students in both high school and elementary environments Assess students needs, create intervention plans, and document progress aligned with IEP goals Consult with teachers and educational staff to support student participation in classroom activities Develop strategies and adaptations for classroom settings to enhance student independence Maintain accurate records of interventions, sessions, and communications Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to the educational team
