Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful part-time opportunity supporting students in grades 5 and 6 as an Occupational Therapist at a respected educational setting near Marietta, GA. This contract position focuses on providing critical OT services to help two students access their curriculum and thrive within their learning environment. The assignment runs from your start date through May 22, 2026, offering consistent, impactful work without overwhelming caseloads.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC certification (both required) Prior experience in a school-based OT role is highly preferred Background working with students with disabilities enhances your fit for this role Able to clear all required background checks and provide documentation Availability to deliver all services onsite—remote work is not an option

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to two assigned students, 30 minutes per week per student, based on IEP requirements Conduct assessments addressing fine motor skills, sensory activities, functional abilities, and overall school participation Collaborate with teachers and special education team members to recommend classroom adaptations Maintain timely and clear documentation on services and student progress Communicate proactively with school staff regarding student needs Ensure compliance with IEP mandates and all applicable regulations Working in this contract-based, part-time position offers you flexibility alongside the opportunity to make a direct, measurable difference in students' educational experiences.
