School Occupational Therapist | Chesterfield, Missouri

Job Description

Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to support students success in an educational setting! A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated OT professional to work within a collaborative school-based environment near Chesterfield, MO. This full-time role runs from ASAP through approximately May 28, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure Prior experience supporting children or adolescents in school settings strongly preferred Ability to assess and implement individualized therapy interventions Excellent communication and organizational abilities Proficient in collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists Flexibility and constructive problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students in alignment with their IEP goals Conduct screenings, evaluations, and determine appropriate interventions Foster students independence in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes Coordinate with educational staff and families to develop effective support strategies Contribute to IEP meetings and ongoing student assessments Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including vision, dental, and medical coverage, as well as access to a 401k retirement plan.
