Key Qualifications:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) Prior experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school environment or working with pediatric populations Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Ability to manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEP goals Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities Regularly monitor, document, and report on student progress Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in school-based
