9600571-98292 Job Description Step into an impactful school-based position as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Your expertise will benefit students across a K-12 setting, likely focused on elementary and middle school levels, with the flexibility to work with high schoolers when needed. This contract position spans 35 hours per week, with assignments beginning September 2, 2026, and concluding June 14, 2027. Youll have a focused caseload of 32 students, and work sites will be split between two schools, offering variety in your daily routine. Ideal candidates will bring experience and enthusiasm for helping students achieve their fullest potential, whether by improving fine motor skills, supporting sensory needs, or collaborating closely with educational teams. Your talent for adapting OT practices for different age groups and comfort with a dynamic educational environment are essential.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Washington State ESA Certification in Occupational Therapy Active Washington State Professional Occupational Therapist License Previous experience within a school setting, preferably across multiple grade levels Comfortable managing a caseload and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams Ability to commute between two local school sites as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Adapt interventions for individual student needs Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings Communicate effectively with staff, families, and administrators
