This contract position is the perfect fit for a skilled OT seeking to make an impact during a maternity leave, spanning from January through the end of the school year. Enjoy a varied and engaging caseload, working itinerantly across three elementary schools, providing vital services to around 40 students.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

Active Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin Experience in school-based OT settings (elementary preferred) Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Ability to manage a diverse caseload and travel between multiple school sites Commitment to fostering student growth, independence, and classroom participation

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct assessments and make recommendations for interventions and supports Develop individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional school participation Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and parents Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and communication Assist in supporting staff with classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
