Responsibilities Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of an Occupational therapist. Monitor and document residents' progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist. Promote resident safety and motivation during therapy sessions while supporting their rehabilitation goals. Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) training including dressing, grooming, and mobility exercises Support the implementation of individualized care plans developed by occupational therapists Help patients improve their functional abilities through therapeutic activities tailored to their needs Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising therapists Assist with patient education on safety, mobility, and adaptive techniques Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes Ensure a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff by adhering to infection control protocols Experience Experience working with patient populations including geriatrics, and individuals requiring specialized care plans Knowledge of medical imaging, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles is advantageous Familiarity with assisting in the development and implementation of care plans for patients with various conditions such as geriatrics Previous experience supporting patient care in settings involving medical terminology understanding and physiology knowledge is beneficial Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care New graduates are also welcome to apply. Qualifications Licensed COTA in the state of Colorado Support offered in transferring of license. This position is open to COTAs at all experience levels.

$31.91 - $38.42 per hour
