Position Overview We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our innovative rehabilitation team at Physio Recovery Center in Centreville, Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will function as a crucial partner in your patients' journeys to restoring mobility, enhancing functionality, and improving overall quality of life. You will engage in meaningful actions across prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. About the Organization Located in the heart of Centreville, Virginia, Physio Recovery Center prides itself on delivering exceptional orthopedic outpatient therapy services within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including two seasoned physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs. We primarily partner with private medical insurance carriers to ensure our patients receive the best possible support for their rehabilitation journeys. Work Environment The working environment at Physio Recovery Center is collaborative and dynamic, promoting both professional growth and patient-centered care. You will be working onsite in a modern outpatient office, where our facilities are equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology. Our office hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a consistent work routine that allows for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify and align with patient goals and needs, ensuring personalized treatment strategies. Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, delivering focused and efficient care to meet diverse client needs. Utilize your orthopedic outpatient expertise to design and implement cost-effective treatment plans aimed at improving motor function and mobility. Provide alternative solutions to surgeries and medications, enhancing the quality of care and minimizing reliance on pharmacological treatments. Develop dynamic care plans incorporating various evidence-based treatment techniques tailored to individual patient profiles. Create tailored wellness and fitness programs aimed at motivating patients to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Regularly evaluate patient progress, documenting findings and modifying treatment plans as necessary. Motivate and inspire patients throughout their therapy sessions to maximize their potential and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery, sharing insights and fostering a holistic treatment approach. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population comprises individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. We focus on providing individualized care for a diverse range of conditions while embodying a patient-first philosophy that prioritizes their unique journey toward improved health and mobility. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required. A valid Virginia Physical Therapist license, with no disciplinary actions or board actions, is necessary for this role. Exceptional manual therapy and therapeutic exercise skills are essential for providing effective patient care. Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, like WebPT, to track patient progress and facilitate communication. Preferred Experience Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, as it enriches your capability to meet the specific needs of our patient demographic. Demonstrated success in developing and executing individualized treatment plans that achieve favorable patient outcomes is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Physio Recovery Center offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 90,000
to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
