New England Orthopedic Surgeons (NEOS) is a premier physician-owned orthopedic and sports medicine practice headquartered in Springfield, MA. We are seeing a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Springfield. An ideal candidate is compassionate, motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary orthopedic clinic dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. As a PTA at NEOS, you'll play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve function following injury or surgery. We welcome both experienced PTAs and recent graduates with a passion for musculoskeletal rehabilitation and functional recovery.

Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support for therapeutic exercise programs , neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Assist in the delivery of post-operative rehabilitation , sports injury recovery , and chronic condition management Document daily treatment notes , update progress reports, and communicate patient status with the care team in compliance with HIPAA and clinical guidelines Ensure proper use of therapeutic modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation, hot/cold packs) as prescribed Educate patients on home exercise programs (HEP) and activity modifications to support ongoing recovery Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and scheduling
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Current Massachusetts PTA license in good standing (Required) Experience in an orthopedic, sports medicine, or outpatient physical therapy setting preferred Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and patient documentation systems Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations CPR/BLS certification (Preferred)

Full-time:
Monday-Friday, Day Shifts (No evenings or weekends) 40 hours/week
Compensation:
Hourly range: $28-$36 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. $2,500 Sign-on Bonus!
