Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced healthcare professional skilled in Interventional Radiology to provide specialized support on a contract basis. This role requires expertise in both Imaging and Interventional Radiology nursing, supporting diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license with a focus in Interventional Radiology Demonstrated experience assisting with complex imaging procedures such as angiographies, biopsies, drain placements, and other catheter-based interventions Proficient in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound Prior experience responding to procedural emergencies and understanding sedation protocols Excellent communication and patient assessment skills BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the interventional radiology team to ensure safe, efficient delivery of patient care Prepare, assess, and monitor patients before, during, and after interventional procedures Administer medications, including moderate sedation, as directed by the physician Maintain sterile fields and assist with procedural set-up and equipment management Perform accurate, thorough documentation in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, addressing any concerns Ensure all quality and safety standards are upheld throughout daily workflow
