Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and consistency. Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including processing cash and card payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and adhering to food safety standards. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any special requests or dietary needs. Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Support beverage service by serving drinks with professionalism and attentiveness, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café remains organized and inviting. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including coffee brewing and non-alcoholic drink crafting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate processing of transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and maintain energy throughout shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness protocols.
