Duties cofee roasting experience Loring machine Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with food preparation when needed Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic retail math calculations Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; passion for coffee is a plus! Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations Experience in food service or retail environments within the food industry is beneficial Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting
