We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time Barista/Cashier to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our café environment, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, serve delicious non-alcoholic drinks, and ensure smooth operation at the point of sale. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, matcha, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS and accurately to process retail sales transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments securely. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Manage food industry responsibilities such as food preparation, beverage service, drink service, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills. Experience Previous experience working as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proven ability to operate POS systems such as Toast or clover POS with accuracy in retail sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Experience in cash handling, processing cash transactions, and performing retail math accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management are essential.
