Matilda's mission is to bring focused cuisine & warm hospitality to the Catskills. As a Line/Event Cook , you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking meals for our guests. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the food service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests
• Monitor food quality and freshness

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
