Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, portioning, or organizing ingredients under supervision. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests or staff. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling and storage of food items, preventing contamination. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, or supplies safely to prevent injury while maintaining efficiency in busy periods. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards within food service environments. Experience with food handling practices and food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold hygiene regulations. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic kitchen operations.
