Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Sales & Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in events management, with skills in fundraising, guest services, and marketing. This role requires exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests. The Event Manager will work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure that all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, and entertainment. Develop event budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for each event. Manage event marketing efforts to promote upcoming events and maximize attendance. Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience. Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all details are managed effectively. Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after each event. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements. Build relationships with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders in the events industry. Requirements Proven experience in events management or a related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of banquet operations and restaurant management is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning. Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Qualifications Banquet experience Strong communication and organizational skills Proven events management expertise Experience in fundraising and budgeting Background in hospitality industry Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
