Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, ensuring a positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone using POS system processing cash and card transactions smoothly. Take care of customers with a friendly attitude and efficiency from taking their order to clearing their plates and resetting their table. Learn the menu! Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales, demonstrating product knowledge effectively. Prepare and assemble food items following safety standards, including handling ingredients and operating kitchen equipment when necessary. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food prep areas, dining surfaces, and equipment, adhering to sanitation standards. Perform side work to ensure well maintained, clean and stocked workplace. Experience Previous experience in restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Proven ability in food handling, safety management, and sanitation practices. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods effectively. Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash register operations. Knowledge of basic math skills necessary for accurate order processing and cash handling. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
