Schedule - 8am - 4:30pm (30 min lunch break) Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your efforts directly contribute to guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of our hotel. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors and surfaces. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols. Manage laundry duties including sorting, washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety during incidents or hazardous situations. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper maintenance. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or cleaning needs while maintaining professionalism. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly preferred; hospitality background is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and stripping floors. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks; familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) is essential. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and cleanliness. Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction through friendly communication and responsiveness. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and scrubbers. Ability to follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
