EDUCATION

Minimum:

High school education or equivalent.

College degree

LICENSE:

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum:

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or become certified within 6 months of date of hire. BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

Experience in long term care setting

Preferred:

Activities experience or CNA training

SKILLS:

Minimum:

Demonstrate a basic knowledge about recreational activities

Preferred:

Knowledge of common physical and mental disorders of the long term care resident knowledge of activities programs and interventions
