Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager - Restaurant Bar to lead our dynamic hospitality team. Duties Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations, including shift management and staff coordination Lead team training sessions on food preparation, service standards, POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and food safety protocols Oversee food handling, kitchen management, and food production to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform cash handling duties Monitor customer service levels to ensure a positive dining experience in casual dining or fine dining settings Conduct staff interviews, performance reviews, and ongoing training to foster a motivated team environment Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and leadership development Sound understanding of food safety management, food handling procedures, and health regulations Ability to analyze profit and loss statements for budgeting and cost control purposes Effective communication skills essential for managerial roles including interviewing, training & development, and managerial communication Experience in managing hospitality teams across various settings such as banquet or catering environments is a plus Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences!
