Get Fresh Café is looking for an energetic, organized Café Operations Manager who enjoys leading a small team, jumping in when needed, and thinking a few steps ahead. This is a hands-on leadership position. We're looking for someone who notices what needs to happen, prioritizes it, and gets it done. $17/hour plus tips What you'll do: Lead day-to-day café and kitchen operations and a small team Work alongside the team during prep and busy service periods. Plan daily and weekly prep based on café business, catering and upcoming events. Maintain excellent food quality, recipe consistency and presentation. Manage inventory, ordering, receiving and food rotation. Keep an eye on food waste, portioning and opportunities to improve efficiency. Organize and execute catering orders accurately and on time. Train, coach and support employees. Maintain a clean, organized and food-safe kitchen. Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Participate in a weekly planning meeting with the owner and General Manager Who we're looking for: You have food-service experience and previous leadership experience. You're organized, dependable and comfortable making decisions. You communicate well, stay relatively calm when things get busy, and aren't afraid to jump in wherever you're needed. You should also be comfortable with basic computer programs and spreadsheets and willing to learn our systems. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership. Our goal is for the café to run beautifully whether the owner is standing in the building or not. This position may also be eligible for performance-based financial incentives tied to mutually established goals and the success of the café. We take our food and our work seriously—but not ourselves all the time.
