Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables promptly to ensure a tidy environment Assist with food preparation, beverage mixing, and basic food handling as needed in a fast-paced setting Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety regulations to provide expert guidance to guests Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously Support team members during busy hours by coordinating service flow and ensuring guest needs are met swiftly Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable reservation system knowledge is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tables efficiently Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to process sales transactions accurately including cash handling and math skills for bill calculations Beverage service experience including spirits, cocktails, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Previous experience in serving or bartending roles preferred; host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods; ability to lift trays or move heavy objects when necessary A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset committed to hospitality excellence Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through energetic service!
