Job Description Saltine Restaurant is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Server to provide excellent dining service and create a welcoming experience for guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to manage customer orders efficiently while working closely with kitchen and restaurant staff. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and assist with seating when needed. Present menus and explain food and beverage options. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally. Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Communicate dietary requirements and special requests to kitchen staff. Recommend daily specials and suitable menu selections. Maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas. Set tables and replenish utensils, napkins, and other supplies. Process payments and handle transactions accurately. Coordinate with kitchen staff and other servers during busy periods. Respond politely to customer concerns and report issues to management. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties. Maintain professional service standards throughout each shift. Qualifications & Skills Previous restaurant serving or hospitality experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Friendly, professional, and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and order accuracy. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Good teamwork and time-management skills. Basic math and cash-handling abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of food safety and restaurant service procedures. Willingness to learn menu items and company policies. Pay:

$22.86 - $27.53 per hour Expected hours: 33.0 per week
