Banquet Server Job Description We are seeking energetic, professional, and detail-oriented Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our events, delivering exceptional food and beverage service during weddings, corporate conferences, and private parties. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in high-quality guest interactions, and works seamlessly as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities Event Set-Up & Preparation:

Set up event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including laying linens and arranging premium glassware, silverware, and china. Prep workstations, coffee breaks, and buffet stations.

Food & Beverage Service:

Serve plated meals, pass hors d'oeuvres, and maintain buffet presentation with strict attention to timing and presentation.

Guest Relations:

Welcome guests warmly, accommodate special dietary restrictions or allergies, and handle custom requests promptly and professionally.

Post-Event Execution:

Clear tables throughout the event (bussing), break down event spaces, and return inventory to designated storage areas.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to all local food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications & RequirementsExperience:

Experience of serving or hospitality experience preferred; experience in banquet, catering, or high-volume environments is a major plus.

Certifications:

Must possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and state-specific alcohol service certification.

Schedule Flexibility:

Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
