Recruiting Coordinator Position Summary:

Rehab at Shannondell is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-focused Recruiting Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The Recruiting Coordinator will play an important role in attracting, engaging, and hiring talented individuals who share our commitment to providing exceptional service and care. This position supports the full recruitment process, from advertising open positions and sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews, attending recruiting events, and assisting candidates through the pre-employment process. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable building relationships with candidates, schools, community organizations, and hiring managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate recruitment efforts for positions throughout Rehab at Shannondell, including Nursing, Dining Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Administration, and other departments. Post and maintain job openings on employment websites, social media platforms, and other recruiting resources. Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates. Conduct initial phone screenings and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates to create a positive and welcoming candidate experience. Partner with department managers to understand current and upcoming staffing needs. Assist with organizing and attending job fairs, hiring events, school visits, career fairs, and community recruiting events. Develop relationships with local colleges, high schools, vocational programs, workforce organizations, and community partners to build candidate pipelines. Assist with creative recruitment strategies designed to attract candidates for difficult-to-fill positions. Support social media recruiting efforts and help develop engaging recruitment advertisements and outreach materials. Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system. Track recruitment metrics, including applicant activity, interviews, offers, hires, and recruiting sources. Coordinate pre-employment requirements and assist candidates with completing necessary onboarding steps. Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information. Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

1-3 year's experience in recruiting High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, customer service, or administrative support preferred. Healthcare or senior living recruitment experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional, friendly, and confident when communicating with candidates and hiring managers. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, job boards, social media, and other recruiting technology. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of the Human Resources team. Ability to represent Rehab at Shannondell professionally at recruiting and community events.
