Bo Nose K9 Training and Daycare Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Kennel Attendant to join our team. We are a busy professional dog training, daycare, and boarding facility. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs—but just as importantly, someone who understands that caring for dogs involves hard work, cleaning, attention to detail, and responsibility. What You'll Be Doing Daily responsibilities include: Feeding and providing fresh water Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, crates, yards, and common areas Letting dogs out for scheduled potty breaks and exercise Supervising and safely handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments Maintaining a clean and organized facility Washing bowls, bedding, crates, and other kennel equipment Monitoring dogs and reporting any changes in behavior, appetite, stool, or general condition Following individual feeding, medication, and care instructions Assisting with general facility upkeep Providing safe, attentive care to every dog on the property This Is a Physical Job We want applicants to know exactly what to expect. Working in a kennel means cleaning up after dogs, being on your feet, working outdoors, dealing with barking, getting dirty, and working in Florida heat and changing weather conditions. There is plenty of interaction with dogs, but this is not a job where you spend the day simply playing with puppies. Their health, safety, cleanliness, and care come first. We're Looking for

Someone Who Is:

Dependable and punctual Comfortable around dogs of all sizes Able to follow detailed instructions Observant and safety-conscious Comfortable working independently Willing to clean and maintain high sanitation standards Physically capable of being active throughout the shift Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Able to remain calm and confident around energetic dogs A team player with a positive attitude Previous kennel, veterinary, daycare, grooming, training, or animal-care experience is a plus, but reliability, work ethic, common sense, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us. Schedule Applicants must understand that dogs require care 365 days a year. Availability for some holidays is required. Weekends are required Full Time 30-35 Hours Shifts - 1 Double (10 hr. day) 1-2 shifts (7am-1pm) and 1-2 shifts (3pm-7pm). A total of 5 days working two days off per week. Compensation Starting pay $16 per hour Pay may be based on experience. From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 34.0 per week Application Question(s): Are you comfortable cleaning urine, feces, vomit, and other kennel messes? Reliable attendance is essential for this position because the dogs in our care require scheduled feeding, cleaning, exercise, and supervision. Are you able to reliably report for all scheduled shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays when scheduled? Do you own your own vehicle to commute to and from work?
