Puddle Pools is looking for 2 experienced Pool Technicians who want more than a job cleaning pools: we want to build our next Assistant Manager and General Manager from within. One technician must live and work in Upper Manatee County (Parrish / Ellenton / Palmetto). One must live and work in Lower Hillsborough County (Ruskin / Apollo Beach / Sun City Center / Riverview / Wimauma). WHO ARE YOU?

• You show up on time, every time. Our techs are on the road no later than 8am, gassed up, batteries charged, supplies stocked, and tools cleaned. Customers can set their watch by us.
• When something's outside your wingspan, you ask for help instead of getting stuck. We'd rather you call it in than spend an hour wrestling with it solo.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform thorough pool and hot tub cleaning: skimming, vacuuming, brushing, emptying and cleaning skimmer and pump baskets, filter maintenance, and salt cell cleaning. Green-to-cleans, spa refreshes, and minor repairs.
• Test and balance water chemistry using proper techniques with a Taylor test kit.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues (pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation systems) and know when to call it in for backup.
• Keep detailed records and complete e-reports in our company software after every visit.
• Clean and maintain commercial pools, hot tubs, and water features 2-3 times a week.
• Keep the branded company van clean and organized, bonuses for washing inside and out.
• Provide friendly, professional service, communicate clearly with customers and answer their questions.
• Drive branded company vehicle safely to and from customer locations, on schedule.
• Represent Puddle Pools well in the community and help us grow: referrals, reviews, and a great attitude go a long way.
• Take the initiative to market to neighboring customers and add to the route when the opportunity presents itself. Bonuses for referrals that sign on and great Google reviews.
• As you grow: train new technicians, help manage the schedule, order supplies/parts/filters, and give quotes to leads.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of professional pool cleaning or maintenance experience required
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license required
• Reliable and punctual: consistent start times are non-negotiable
• Strong communicator who proactively flags problems instead of sitting on them
• Hands-on knowledge of pool systems, equipment, and cleaning techniques
• Ability to operate basic mobile apps/software for job tracking and reporting
• Physically able to bend, lift (50+ lbs), and work outdoors in Florida weather, rain or shine
• Leadership potential: ability (or desire to learn) to train others and take on management responsibility Puddle Pools is a professional pool service company specializing in residential and commercial pools across Manatee and Hillsborough counties.
