Yes Job Summary We are seeking 3 experienced Maintenance Technicians to support automated manufacturing operations in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve automated production equipment to help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Technician will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer-controlled systems, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with production teams to minimize equipment downtime. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing equipment and systems. Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints. Troubleshoot electrical systems and repair equipment malfunctions. Maintain, install, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment. Dismantle machinery and equipment to access, repair, or replace defective components. Repair or replace worn or defective machine parts. Lubricate, clean, adjust, and maintain equipment as required. Test machinery and equipment after repairs to verify proper operation. Support production teams with equipment troubleshooting and downtime reduction. Assist with the startup, commissioning, and validation of new or modified equipment. Make approved equipment modifications to support production requirements. Set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses, and other metalworking tools to manufacture or repair parts. Install new machinery and equipment as directed. Fabricate approved fixtures for production use. Follow OSHA, plant safety, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience working with electrical systems, including 480V, 120V, and 24V. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience in automotive production or other high-volume manufacturing environments. Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled equipment. Experience working with Rockwell PLC logic. Ability to use diagnostic and troubleshooting tools. Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. Forklift experience or license. Preferred Qualifications Technical certificate or associate degree in Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or a related field. Experience with vision systems such as Keyence or Cognex. Experience with industrial robotics, including FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Yaskawa. Experience with HMI systems and industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP or Profibus. Knowledge of machine safety systems, guarding, and interlocks. Lean manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience. Journeyman's card. Work Details This is a first-shift, fully on-site position in Auburn Hills, MI, paying up to $32.00 per hour, depending on applicable qualifications and experience.
