Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 152626 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for a potential temp-to-hire opportunity in Joplin. This position supports the Maintenance team with the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment within an automated manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician will help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently while assisting with mechanical and electrical maintenance needs throughout the plant. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, communicates effectively, and is interested in developing additional industrial maintenance experience in an automated production environment. • Assist with maintenance of manufacturing machinery
• Support repairs of production equipment
• Assist with installation of machinery, tools, and equipment
• Help troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Assist with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Inspect equipment for potential maintenance concerns
• Help maintain production equipment in safe operating condition
• Respond to equipment issues as directed by Maintenance personnel
• Use applicable hand and power tools safely
• Assist with equipment adjustments and repairs
• Support equipment installations and modifications
• Communicate equipment concerns to Maintenance personnel
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all plant safety procedures
• Support efficient production operations
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned Mechanical Maintenance Candidates may assist with:
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Equipment repairs
• Component replacement
• Machinery adjustments
• Equipment installation
• Production machine maintenance
• Preventative maintenance activities
• General mechanical upkeep Electrical Maintenance Candidates should have basic electrical skills and may assist with:
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Identifying equipment-related electrical problems
• Inspecting electrical components
• Supporting electrical repairs
• Equipment installation and connections within applicable training and authorization
• Following established electrical safety procedures Automated Manufacturing Equipment This position works within an automated manufacturing facility, supporting machinery and equipment used in daily production.
