In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and facilities. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your HVAC,mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a dynamic setting while providing exceptional customer service. EPA certification a plus Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and other building systems through repairs or replacements as needed Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and perform repairs efficiently. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Lead small projects or assist in larger repairs with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship. Requirements Proven experience in multi-family or residential maintenance with a strong understanding of facilities maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with electrical work and plumbing system repair is essential. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters effectively. Knowledge of HVAC systems repair including troubleshooting thermostats, compressors, fans, filters, and ductwork. Experience working with schematics, technical manuals, and PLCs for automation troubleshooting. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and team members. Ability to perform maintenance painting, carpentry tasks including drywall repairs or interior upgrades. Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), building interior maintenance, and facilities upkeep is highly desirable.
