Job Overview One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Lee's Summit is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems Help customers understand their options and recommend repair vs. replace when appropriate Perform proper system inspections and offer solutions to prevent future issues Maintain a clean, professional work area and wear floor savers while in customer homes Fully test systems after service and ensure the issue is fixed right the first time Explain services to customers clearly and ensure complete satisfaction before leaving Record system type and age on all invoices Promote Club Memberships and maintain a strong conversion and renewal rate Complete all paperwork, task codes, and job documentation accurately and on time Turn in parts receipts and debrief with dispatch after each job Maintain a neat, clean, and well-stocked company vehicle Requirements 2+ years of HVAC service experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Able to pass a background check and drug test Comfortable working independently and using hand/power tools Must be non-smoking or able to refrain from smoking on customer property Preferred Qualifications NATE Certification HVAC diploma or technical training Familiarity with residential ductwork and system components Experience using ServiceTitan Benefits Very competitive pay + incentives 401(k) with up to 4% company match Health, dental, vision & supplemental insurance 7 paid holidays 2 weeks paid vacation 3 paid sick days Ongoing paid training and development Year-round work—no seasonal layoffs Supportive team culture and leadership that invests in your growth
