We design and manufacture custom overhead bridge cranes and material-handling equipment for industrial and government customers throughout the country. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys custom work, solving problems, and taking pride in producing high-quality components.
Salary Range:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits Hourly Base Salary Based on Experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Career Growth Opportunities Mon-Fri Schedule Requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC lathes and CNC mills Previous experience operating manual lathes and manual mills Strong machine setup and troubleshooting abilities Ability to read blueprints and hold required tolerances Ability to perform custom setups and determine the best machining approach CNC programming experience is preferred but not required Experience machining large steel components is a plus Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing quality work Able to work independently and as part of a team If you are an experienced CNC and manual machinist looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that takes pride in building high-quality equipment, we would like to speak with you. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills Set up and operate manual lathes and manual milling machines Machine custom steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and machining symbols Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes Perform one-off machining, repairs, modifications, and short production runs Inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Make offsets and CNC program adjustments as necessary Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and assembly personnel to complete custom projects About Us Crane Technologies has been designing, building, installing, and maintaining custom-built cranes and crane components since 1946.
