Responsibilities of the Machinist Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and numerical control machines (e.g., CNC mills, CNC lathes, and grinders) to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts Monitor and adjust machine operation as needed Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Machinist 2-3 years of machining experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data Good communication skills in English Strong mechanical aptitude Attention to detail and visual acuity Reliable team player Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
